She has been recognized by the John Lennon Foundation and is a recipient of the Brian Wilson Musical Achievement Award for her work in the songwriting field. From writing for Japanese boy bands and jazz big bands, to coaching pop stars and performing her own show here and abroad, Courtney thrives off the adventure of an eclectic career in music.

Courtney works with some of the best in the industry, including her producer, 7x Grammy award-nominee Chris Walden. She also performs at Disneyland with the All-Star Band and recently enjoyed a residency with The Jazz Eclectic in Las Vegas. She has written and performed songs for Atlantic Records, Universal Music Group, Sony Japan, Disney, Cartoon Network, MTV and ABC. And was named one of Glamour Magazine’s “Top 10 College Women” in 2009.

Courtney is the founder of Songmaker Sessions, a program that helps young songwriters improve their skills and confidence. She teaches workshops, masterclasses and speaks on topics relating to songwriting, performing, music business and arts advocacy.

She holds a Music Industry degree from the University of Southern California and is currently completing her Masters in Arts Leadership at the University of Southern California.
