— is a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and composer who teaches and performs in Wrightwood, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and the Inland Empire. She managed and hosted the all-ages Jazz Jam in Riverside which brought in incredible musicians from all over the area and gives young students a supportive, encouraging place to play. She has had the great honor of studying with renowned musicians on multiple instruments; upright bass with Darek Oles, Or Bareket and Rick Shaw, composition and arranging with Norman Ludwin at UCLA, classical vocal performance and conducting with Dr. Tom Miller, jazz and classical guitar with Rich Sumner, flute performance with Sara Andon of University of Redlands, and piano performance with Joel Paat and Dr. Erin Kirk. She received her Associate’s Degree in Jazz Bass Performance in 2019. In 2018, Dylann was chosen as a featured artist in the Young Artist Showcase at the Washington Women in Jazz Festival in Washington, D.C. and performed her original music with her all-female quartet. She has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., Lincoln Center in New York City, and Wang Theater in Boston with groups such as the National Philharmonic and the Bulgarian National Folklore Ensemble. She has been a music educator for eleven years and was a part of Keyboard Art School of Music for three years before taking over the business and transforming it into Wrightwood Education Studio (WES).

Dylann loves sharing her passion for educating young minds and spreading the joy of music and creativity. She also loves coffee, living in the mountains, her two little ones, and their studio cats: Weslee & Django.
