Katie Snyder

Voiceover for Animation & Medical Clowning

— Lovingly known as a ball of sunshine, Katie Lin Snyder is a voiceover artist, dancer, and medical clown (yes you heard right!) hailing from the small town of Manhattan Beach, California. Her love for the performing arts began at a young age when she imitated radio jingles and starred in community musical theatre productions such as Seussical (Gertrude) and You're A Good Man Charlie Brown (Lucy Van Pelt). She now holds a bachelor's degree in theatre acting from the USC School of Dramatic Arts, and is passionate about inspiring the next generation of performers. Since graduating, she has recorded voiceover commercials for companies such as Exxon Mobil and Texas Wesleyan University, and voiced multiple characters in the viral Youtube animated series, Pencilmation. As a medical clown, she has brought joy and laughter to patients at LAC-USC, CHLA, The Children's Bureau, and Camp Painted Turtle. Her dance career blossomed when she joined the Hollywood It Girls, a vintage chorus girl swing dance group, and has performed all over LA county, including at the famous Griffith Park carousel. Amongst these performance endeavors, Katie has trained students in the performing arts with various companies around the South Bay including TADA Stages, Puttin' On Productions, The Actor's Place, and Palos Verdes Performing Arts for the past 9 years. She most recently served as assistant director for Beauty and the Beast and Peter Pan, and has taught classes in voiceover for animation, monologue/scene work, and commercial acting.

In her free time, Katie enjoys frequent trips to Disneyland (especially on Dapper Day), hiking, snow skiing, wakeboarding, and teaching screenwriting to underprivileged elementary school students with Young Storytellers.

"Everyone's unique voice deserves to be heard, and the most magical way those voices can be expressed is through the performing arts."
